Apple iPad 2 postponed to June

Wednesday February 23, 2011

As per the latest news by a Taiwanese source iPad has failed bringing the much awaited iPad 2 until June due to some design changes made recently.

As per the report, Taiwanese brokerage firm Yuanta’s head of downstream technology equities, Vincent Chen explained that due to a design change made in the beginning of the month, there has been a delay from iPad maker Hon Hai. Because of this the launch has been delayed from expected April month.
We are still anticipating on the design change but doubt the addition of USB port and Flash support.

Reports says that new iPad 2 will be more slimmer, lighter and will even feature cameras on front and back with comparatively higher resolution display.

Chen had predicted the units sold out in 2010 launch to about 30.6 million units, but the recent delay of its sequel product may annoy the buyers and can bring down the sales to about 23 millions.
